Five PA men arrested for assaulting lifeguards on Jersey’s “family beach” – FREE TO GO under NJ Bail Reform
“A group of men from Pennsylvania was charged with assaulting lifeguards Tuesday afternoon on the beach near Eighth Street and attempting to flee by running through Gillian’s Wonderland Pier… The men, who were assaulting the lifeguards when they arrived, turned their aggression toward the officers, police said. Two of the men ran from the beach onto the Boardwalk and into Gillian’s at Sixth Street, police said. Police and lifeguards ran after them and were able to apprehend the men. The three other men were arrested on the beach. All five men were taken to the police station, charged and released on summonses. Breland J. Roach, 26, and Qwanayzia N. Nelson, 23, both of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; and Harold E. Corbin, 25, and Darnell M. Willingham, 29, both of Philadelphia, were charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Trevis Willingham, 34, of Philadelphia was charged with disorderly conduct.”
